Greeting
In recent years, the speed of social change has accelerated, significantly transforming both consumer behavior and ways of thinking. In the printing industry, digital printing and sustainability have become increasingly important, a trend that was prominently observed at drupa 2024 last year. Even in the rapidly growing Chinese market, challenges such as economic changes, rising labor costs, and difficulties in securing personnel have emerged, leading many companies to shift their focus to the packaging sector.
At China Print 2025, Komori will introduce solutions under the theme of Connected Automation to maximize customer value. We will showcase a new 29-inch offset press for packaging, and the digital printing press that gained significant attention at drupa 2024, for the first time in China.
Marking our 100th anniversary the year before last, we defined Komori's purpose as delivering Kando "beyond expectations" by contributing to society with print technology.
To bring Kando to our customers, we are dedicated to advancing print technology, developing groundbreaking new technologies and products that exceed expectations, and providing prompt and effective service. At this exhibition, we will be presenting innovative solutions created through the collective efforts of our entire company. We look forward to welcoming you at our booth. Please count on us.

Exhibition Theme: Connected Automation
Subtitle: Printing Creates Value
Under the theme of Connected Automation, Komori proposes the construction of a Smart Factory that eliminates barriers between processes by interconnecting equipment and advancing operational automation, thereby improving productivity and increasing profitability.
In the booth, we will set up a Central Control Room to create a virtual Smart Factory. By linking all processes from the front-end ERP system through KP-Connect Pro, Komori's Manufacturing Execution System (MES), we will provide real-time visualization of job cost management and progress tracking for packaging, card printing, and booklet production, from production planning to printing and finishing.
For the solutions to increasing packaging demand, we will exhibit two seven-color offset printing presses with coaters. We will showcase live demonstrations of the 40-inch Lithrone G40 advance EX Edition, which features enhanced operability with energy-efficient performance, and the 29-inch Lithrone GX29 advance, a new model that combines versatile substrate compatibility with high-quality printing for the B2 market.
Additionally, in the increasingly prominent field of digital printing, we will introduce the J-throne 29, a 29-inch sheetfed UV inkjet digital printing press, to the Chinese market for the first time. With its exceptional printing speed and a double-sided one-pass printing mechanism, it achieves a world-class ROI*¹.
Through these machines, we will introduce a new solution that integrates offset and digital printing into a hybrid workflow using KP-Connect Pro as a common platform.

Exhibited Machines / Corner Introduction
Smart Factory Zone
KP-Connect
In the Smart Factory Zone, which embodies the Connected Automation exhibition theme, a Central Control Room will be set up within the booth, where multiple monitors will centrally manage the production progress of the exhibited machines. Jobs for both offset and digital printing machines within the booth will be automatically assigned by the KP-Connect Pro auto-scheduler. Experience a Smart Factory where all equipment is interconnected, enabling visualization and automation.
At the booth, technical staff will be available to introduce case studies of system integration and provide technical consultations. Additionally, we will share information on new products and features as well as tips on utilizing operational data effectively.
●Digital Printing Zone
J-throne 29 Debut
29" Sheetfed UV Inkjet Digital Printing Press
For the first time in the Chinese market, we will unveil the J-throne 29, a 29-inch sheetfed UV inkjet digital printing press that achieves a world-class ROI with a single-sided printing speed of 6,000 sph. With its class-leading printing speeds of 6,000 sph for single-sided printing and 3,000 sph for double-sided printing, along with a newly developed dedicated UV ink that offers broad print compatibility, this technology significantly expands the possibilities of digital printing.
In the live demonstration, we will showcase the machine's wide substrate compatibility by printing three types of jobs in succession: variable package printing on thick paper, card printing, and photo book printing on thin paper. Through these demonstrations, we will introduce solutions that only Komori, with expertise in both offset and digital printing technologies, can provide.
●High Added-Value Printing Zone
LITHRONE G40 advance EX Edition (GL-740A+C)
UV-equipped 40-inch Seven-Color Sheetfed Offset Printing Press with Inline Coater
For the first time in the Chinese market, we will introduce the Lithrone G40 advance EX Edition, which underwent a redesign last year. The Lithrone GX/G advance series, known for its world-class ROI*¹, has been widely adopted globally. The high productivity is continuously evolving to meet the demands of the times. The EX Edition comes equipped with innovative new standard features. An optimized roller configuration based on the latest analytical technology, an economical and environmentally friendly blower that achieves high-speed, high-efficiency operation while being compact and lightweight, and a static control system that improves sheet alignment in the delivery by humidifying the entire sheet all contribute to reducing energy costs and enhancing operator efficiency.
In the field of package printing, there is a rapidly growing demand for small-lot production as well as product diversification and differentiation. To meet these demands, high-productivity printing presses that support multi-color printing, fast job changeovers, and stable operation are increasingly required. In the live demonstration, you will witness high-productivity printing that delivers the high quality and added value required for package printing.
By transferring production information through KP-Connect Pro and utilizing KHS-AI', the system optimally controls automation features such as A-APC (Asynchronous Automatic Plate Changer) and parallel control of blanket cleaning, enabling high-speed job changeovers. Additionally, the PDC-SX/PDF comparator system manages quality by measuring and automatically adjusting color and registration as well as comparing printed output with the original PDF image data. These innovations enable breakthrough advancements in package printing.
LITHRONE GX29 advance (GLX-729A+C) Debut
LED-UV equipped 29-inch Seven-Color Sheetfed Offset Printing Press with Inline Coater
The possibilities of printing continue to SHINKA (deepening, evolving, and creating). The range of applications for printing continues to expand, encompassing diverse packaging, cards, and acrylic goods.
To meet these printing demands, we have developed the Lithrone GX29 advance as a new addition to our lineup. This model enhances print compatibility with clear film substrates and metalized paper. Additionally, it is equipped with energy-saving features such as Smart Inking Flow, DC Blower, and e-Mist, which are also adopted in the Lithrone GX40/G40 advance EX Edition, contributing to environmental sustainability.
In the demonstration, we will showcase high added-value printing using LED-UV and a coater-equipped seven-color machine.
*The Lithrone GX29 advance will be available for sale starting April 2025.
●Postpress Zone
MBO Series Combi Folder
MBO CoBo-Stack Automatic palletizing robot
The MBO Series is a folder capable of producing medium to large lot products and complex signatures at high precision and performance. The folder can be configured with a variety of feeding solutions depending upon the market application: a pile feeder for small lots, a pallet feeder for direct from press environments, or a continuous round feeder for variable work.
MBO Postpress Solutions GmbH has joined the Komori Group, allowing for postpress automation. Linking the finishing process with KP-Connect Pro through the MBO Datamanager 4.0 Interface allows for high level data analysis and optimization. One of MBO's most valuable modules is the CoBo-Stack automatic palletizing robot, which removes labor from the folder area while allowing higher productivity.
